Wolf Of The Plains - Conn Iggulden
You just cannot beat a Conn Iggulden book and his first book in the Khan series is phenomenal. He balances writing great fictional content alongside well researched nuances, that just deliver a great read. I highly recommend picking this book up!
Harlequin - Bernard Cornwell
The first book of 'The Grail Quest' by Bernard Cornwell. It follows the main character Thomas of Hookton around the landscape of the Hundred Years war, which was between England and France. Think Sharpe meets medieval war, and you are there!
Rebellion - Simon Scarrow
Book 22 in the 'Eagles Of the Empire' series. Simon is a master of his craft and a best selling author. He matched historical insights with fast paced storylines. For fans of Roman history, this is bound to entertain you.
Master & Commander - Patrick O'Brian
Having watched the film (2003) starring Russell Crowe I just knew this would be a great book to read. I was wrong, it is FANTASTIC! The book Master & Commander is a deep dive into the British Navy c.1805 and highly recommended for hardcore Historical Fiction fans.
