Michael was born in 1989 just outside of London in the UK.
He joined the Army at 16 and spent nine years travelling across the globe. Michael already possessed a deep love of history from a young age. This passion and a further interest in other cultures are reflected in his writing style, helping to bring his stories to life through lived experience and a creative imagination.
After leaving the Army in 2014, he earned a degree in Business Management, studying part-time alongside his work in London. He has since remained working in the commercial sector, writing his stories alongside a career.
In his spare time he enjoys reading books written by Bernard Cornwell, Simon Scarrow, Frank Hebert, and Conn Iggulden.
Michael has been writing historical fiction since 2019 and is set to release his debut novel independently in the latter part of 2026. It will be the first book in an exciting new series.
